Embossed keypads
A keyboard on which keys and other elements of the overlay are formed by either a hot- or cold-press, depending on the materials. Embossing is currently being used to improve the looks of a product, it can be combined with an underlying layer providing tactile feedback (dome-switches); virtually any shapes can be achieved with this technique.
